88 Golf
Design & Construction
01
About us
88 Golf (a New Zealand registered company) was established in 2018 to offer golf course design and construction services to customers building new and/or rebuilding golf courses.
The services provided are generally design, shaping and finishing works, which are terms applied to the specific operations associated with the physical construction of golf courses. The actual activities carried out include design and planning, large earthmoving, final trimming of surfaces, drainage and irrigation installation, preparation of surfaces for grass, grassing and establishment of grassed areas up to playable status.
02
In a Nutshell
A key component of 88 Golf is to help you understand the root cause behind your desire to rebuild or build from new. If you have money to spend, you need it spent well and wisely. 88 Golf will ensure you get the best outcome efficiently and effectively.
88 Golf Design has a personalised Design Discovery phase. We run you through a detailed process to develop your thoughts and create foundations that we adhere to throughout the project. Some things we consider:
For rebuilds and redesigns:
- Environmental changes including weather, soil and grass conditions
- Age demographicsÂ
- Technology changesÂ
- Maintenance practices and costsÂ
- Type of membership
For new builds:
- Target audience
- Type of membership or strictly green fee
- Land layout and conditionsÂ
- Weather patterns and norms
88 golf questionnaires and group sessions are designed to guide owner/developers through an intrinsic process, ensuring targeted outcomes.
